Rumours have been circulating that Cheryl Cole is going to be given a place on the judges table, as she attempts to break in to the US celebrity scene.

Desperate Housewives star arrested

Ricardo Chavira, who plays Carlos Solis on Desperate Housewives, has reportedly been arrested for DUI in Los Angeles.

The star of Wisteria Lane was allegedly arrested after a routine traffic stop this (Tuesday) morning.

Police sources told TMZ that officers could smell alcohol, however Chavira refused to give a sample.

It is rumoured that the 39-year-old star is now being held on bail at a local jail for $25,000.

Blake Lively has ditched her long blonde locks in favour of a new red barnet.

Lively, 23, was spotted at the Time 100 Gala in New York on Tuesday.

The Gossip Girl star told People magazine that her new do was for her role in the film Hick.

“I thought [my character] needed red hair. It helps when you’re playing a role, when I don’t feel like myself. And I don’t really feel like myself with red hair.”

The young actress has recently become the face of Chanel handbags, however it is uncertain whether her new style will stay.

The Gossip can foresee a new trend arising as ginger becomes the new blonde.

Imagine the original tale, however, slightly more sexed up, meets Twilight and this is what you get.

The blockbuster, which is set in medieval times, tells the story of Valerie, played by Amanda Seyfried, who lives in a small village called Daggerhorn. Every month, on the full moon, the villagers carry out the ritual of sacrificing an animal in the hope that the haunting werewolf will spare them.

Mariah Carey gives birth to twins

Mariah Carey has finally given birth to a boy and a girl.

The 'Hero' singer gave birth to healthy twins yesterday, at a hospital in Los Angeles.

Nick Cannon tweeted earlier today saying:  "I'm in the happiest place I've ever been in my life. I never had more amazing things happening. I am humbled by God's Favor!!"

Carey, and husband of three years Cannon, have yet to reveal the names of their daughter and son as of yet.

'The wedding of the century' - A right royal occasion

It has been revealed, by Digital Spy, that Friday’s Royal Wedding attracted over 26 million viewers in the United Kingdom.

The much anticipated event, labelled as the ‘wedding of the century’, attracted viewers from right across the globe.



The BBC News website said: “The estimated figures for the BBC and ITV put the wedding in the all-time top 10 most-watched programmes, although more people watched the 1966 World Cup Final (32.3m) and Princess Diana's funeral in 1997 (32.1m).”

The wedding was attended by 1,900 guests with the likes of Elton John accompanied by his partner David Furnish as well as David and Victoria Beckham being spotted in the Abbey.
